Class News and Information:

Welcome to the Foreign Language Page!

Students in Grades 3-8 are required to bring a notebook to each Rosetta Stone class.  They will record vocabulary words, verb conjugations and the like in the notebook as part of their classwork grade. (See grading policy below)

Your child has the ability to use the program at home.  (http://mogschool.rosettastoneclassroom.com/en).

Part of your tuition pays for this so please take advantage of this valuable resource by scheduling 10-15 minuntes of Rosetta Stone as part of your child's homework several times per week, if not daily.

In the event that your child cannot use the program at home, they can use their notebook each night to study the words they have recorded.  Please help your child be as successful as possible in learning their chosen foreign language by helping them to remember to review what they have written in their notebook.

Kindergarten is using English in Rosetta Stone during the first semester until the students get used to the way the program works.  During the second semester all of the students will begin to learn Spanish.  In order to allow everyone a chance to click on the correct answer, we are passing around our Mobile Tablet, which we call the Mobi.  Not only are we learning how to use a new application, we are also learning how to use new technoloy!

LANGUAGE CHOICE FORMS

If your child wishes to change languages for the new school year, please be advised that they must complete at least Level 1 before being allowed to change.
